Go With the Flow

“If you are depressed, you are living in the past.

If you are anxious, you are living in the future.

If you are at peace, you are living in the present.”

-Lao Tzu

Not being at peace usually comes from being stuck in the past or worrying about the future.  Being at peace is being totally present in the here and now. Peace is the absence of stress, stress is absence of in tranquility.

Peace is a subtle feeling of softness, while stress is loud and chaotic. Peace feels good while stress feels bad. Peace means releasing what no longer serves you, peace means you are in alignment with your higher purpose.

When you love yourself you choose peace over stress . . . why? Think about it, Love is a peaceful and powerful energy, when you love yourself you recognize that being at peace is a way of expressing love to yourself.  Worry and stress don’t feel while peace feels soft and gentle.

When you choose love your body listen and flow with divine orchestration, go with the flow, whatever you resist persists, take the path of least resistance. Be like the river; live your live in the flow.

So at any given moment you can choose carefully your thoughts, choose peace instead of worry, choose serenity instead of tension, choose flow instead of stress, harmony instead of agitation. It is really all up to you, if you focus in what feels good you will feel good. Likewise if you focus on what doesn’t feel good, your body will instantly react by producing a bad feeling.

“Choose your thoughts carefully. Keep what brings you peace, release what brings you suffering.  And know that happiness is just a thought away.”                                                                                                    -Nishan Panwar

Release that which no longer serves you, release anything that won’t let you be in the present moment.

Inhale for four seconds, hold it for six seconds and release for four seconds, repeat four times. Take a deep breath inhale peace, exhale worries, inhale tranquility exhale stress, inhale serenity, exhale overthinking, inhale calm, exhale tension..

While you breathe in and out you can use this beautiful mantra:

“When I can relax myself, I can be at peace and when I am at peace I flow with the universe.”
